Situated on a working 300 acre organic sheep and arable farm mentioned in the Doomsday Book 1086 you will be a short drive to the famous and popular North Devon coast with sheltered coves and long sandy surfing beaches. Woolacombe offers a long sandy surfing beach and there are also a choice of smaller beaches and sheltered coves as well as the Victorian fishing town of Ilfracombe with beach fishing trips day trips to Lundy Island theatre marine aquarium shops pubs restaurants and galleries. The regional centre of Barnstaple is 4 miles away and offers leisure facilities and cinema. Attractions within the area include National Trust s Arlington Court Broomhill Arts and Sculpture Gardens Marwood Hill Gardens Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Watermouth Castle. At certain times of the year enjoy seeing the various farming activities including lambing stroll the woodland and bluebell walk and in the evening walk to the village pub serving good food.
